The Denver CleanTech Hackathon is an intense, collaborative 36-hour coding competition aimed at developing working software solutions for global environmental and sustainability challenges. The event invites software developers, UI/UX designers, data scientists, and product managers to form teams and build prototypes from scratch. Participants will tackle specific problem statements relating to energy conservation, waste management tracking, smart city transport optimizations, and carbon footprint calculators. Throughout the marathon, experienced industry mentors will be available to provide technical guidance, architectural validation, and design advice to competing teams. On the final day, teams will demonstrate their working prototypes before a panel of engineering judges, competing for performance awards, cloud credits, and incubation support. The event provides a high-energy platform to test technical skills under time constraints, build functional code portfolios, and collaborate intensely with fellow innovators.
